New YouTube Video - Parralox - System of Pleasure

System of Pleasure is a song taken from our new album Genesis. It's dedicated to Stephen Hawking, a man whose brilliance I admire so much I can't begin to tell you. I've always been fascinated by people with intellects as vast as that.

Way back in 2011 I started writing songs for a new Parralox album, with songs including Oblivion, Aeronaut, Life is Calling, Mystery, Companion and Do You Feel What I Feel? amongst others.
Amii didn't feel that her vocals suited the tracks, so rather than let them go to waste (and not feeling confident enough to release them as Parralox tracks) I created a side-project and released the tracks under the pseudonym of The Sound of The Crowd.
In 2013 I finally released them as proper Parralox tracks on the album Aeronaut, although this song wasn't included on the album.
A remixed version of Oblivion appears on our Electric Nights EP, and these are the vocals for the track.

Hope you are staying safe and looking after each other.

Much love, John and Johanna.
