| Additional Info: Wednesday the 21st of October, 2020. 0831 hours. Just spoke with Casear in France. Looks like their curfew is just starting up again, while ours ended last week./ I'm going to visit Angus today. It's been over 8 months since I've seen him in person. I was speaking with Tiffany when I doing my HAHC shadow shift at SVHM on Saturday and she was mentioning this amazing podcast she was listening to about this song. And I nearly fell over when she mentioned what song it was! I thought I'd start this track, as I was speaking to Thomas Lilja about this many months ago. It's mid October and I need to get my ass into gear to finish Holiday '20. Every year I say I'm going to finish the tracks mid-year but then time passes and it makes fun of people who don't wear glasses. 0933. Back to the programming. Right now it's tempo mapping and arrangement. I've been doing the 10 Minute vocal Warm Ups on YouTube while doing that. 1001. Just finished the arrangement and tempo mapping. Now I need to add in all the time signature changes. It changes from 4/4 to 2/4 just before the ends of the verses. If I don't add the time sig changes now it's going to get real messy real fast when I start the actual song programming! Ie The Parts won't land on the first beat. 1127. Just finished the drum programming. 1203. Starting the vocals now. Don't think I will be seeing Angus today. I don't want to lose the momentum. 1558. Just finished recording all the vocals. Just printed a mix. Doesn't sound too bad. I think V2 will be the final version once I sort out the guitar conversions etc. 1632. time to take Jack for a walk and go to the Post Office. I've been going non-stop in the studio for over 8 hours. Time for some fresh air. I'll meet Sharyn at 1700 and play her the track, and then we will go for a walk in the park. Wednesday 16th of December, 2020 0044 hours Just finished working on Wind of Change V4. I took Thomas Lilja's suggestion and added some Soldat FX. I wasn't sure about actually releasing this version, and was going to stick with the slow, original version, but TL gave me the condfidence, and so the fast version will be included on Holiday '20. Yay! |
