Shadows Fall

Written by Jeffo! and John von Ahlen.

Verse 1
Caught up in the pull
Of everlasting night
Time is slowing down
Beyond the horizon

Will you remember me
After the lights go out
Will you remember me
After the stars explode?

Chorus
Where will you to run to
When the shadows fall
Where will you to run to
When the shadows fall

Verse 2
Quieting the nightmares
Is harder than it seems
The Demon in your heart
Hungers for something

Running in the dark
Shadows closing in
There's no escape it seems
No escape from dreams

Repeat Chorus x2

Outro
Are you a metronome
Or are you a wrecking ball?

19:35 – Jeffo! and I went walking long the Highline today and stopped at Whitney Houston Museum (had a mocha). Was a lovely walk and the rain held off.
The Jeff mentioned that he wanted to do a vanity song, and I pretty much said "lets do it" , even though I was a little tired, I figured I was just going to go back to the apartment and pack and eat my apple turnovers, so may as well be productive.
We walked back to my hotel on 24th and 6th and I got my laptop. We then got the M train back to Peter and Jeffo!'s place.
We started the track with absolutely nothing at 1630, and finished the track at 1925, that includes writing the music, arranging the song and recording Jeffo!'s vocals.
The entire track was produced on my AERO laptop, which only had Mercury 6 and VirtualV installed as VSTis running Cubase 14.
I write these note2 at 1939 hours and are printing V1,.we will then have a listen on the proper speakers in the lounge room.
