Additional Info: Written on Thursday 28th of July 2016 between 1700 and 1817 hours, with 40 minutes to spare before Louise arrives to record vocals. I often think of Stock/Aitken/Waterman and how they would write songs, while the artist waited in the Lounge for the song to be completed (see Kylie - I Should Be So Lucky). I like the idea of being forced to write a song under a looming deadline (hmm, maybe not all the time ha!). Obviously this is another last minute song, and the words just came from nowhere really. However, as Louise pointed out, I think it was my subconscious telling me I am overworked and I need a holiday! This song was debuted at the Parralox live performance in New York on August 8th, 2016. Features Bass Guitar by Ian Burden (ex The Human League). The Bass Guitar used on the track is an Ibanez via a Boss Compressor, the very same guitar Ian used on Mirror Man and (Keep Feeling) Fascination. |
