Additional Info: Wednesday the 12th February 2020 0030 I was thinking about Johanna and had the urge to write a song for her daughter Mila. It's been on my mind for a while. I was thinking of O Superman crossed with Julie by Eurythmics. I just messaged Jo and asked her to sing me some scales in the form of Do Re Mi So Fa La Ti Do, and thought I would take the Mi and La sections and cut/sample them into Mila. So Jo would hear the end song and not realised she sung a song for her daughter, and hopefully be a nice surprise for her. 0042 - Just finished writing the chorus and verse chords. I was channelling Twin Peaks and then veered off somewhere else, which is great from a creative (and legal) perspective. 0111 in the morning. Just went for a walk to 711 with Jack. The city is empty and the streets are mine. NB - I started another song called Windy and gave it catalogue #212 but decided to over-ride it as I don't think I will ever release Windy officially. 00 Saturday the 29th of February, 2020. Spent the morning rehearsing for the Manchester gig. I am so sick of the songs by now. It's been a month of rehearsals! Spent the afternoon with Michael T at the Greek Festival. Jack had a ball as well, but after 6 hours I think he had enough of the crowds. We all had a great time. We had coffee, too much Greek food, and sat and watched the crowd go by, as well as enjoying all the entertainment, both mobile and on stage. I checked in my AirBNB guests at 2000 hours and they were a lovely couple. Got back to the studio at 2025 hours and I messaged Adam and let him know that I wasn't going to come over, which is a shame because I really wanted to. But tomorrow is today's yesterday, right? I had the inspiration to keep working on this track, and wrote the chorus lyrics at 2055 hours. Maybe I can come up with some verses. Chorus 2055 Round and round then back again In my heart and in my brain Call your name and all I hear is Mila, Mila Coda 2110 Took another For a lover Then discovered Like no other We come together And so forever / Then forever Mila, Mila If I ever Thought I'd never Love Forever Love another |
