Lifeline

Written by John von Ahlen.

Verse 1
Waiting for someone
Is never a wise thing to do
When you know someone
Is going to do that to you

Too late, should have listened
Too late, when the body has failed
Your mind is all broken
Yes It's a minor detail

Pre Chorus
Don't you know I could never be the one for you
Hoping that I could never be the one for you
Don't need a change of heart
Only to break apart / Only to fall apart

Maybe it's over, I'm so sorry I was blind
Don't let me change your mind
I know we're out of time

Chorus A
Strange so it seems
To fall so blindly
For love not to find me

Chorus B
Strange End Of Days
Too soon to miss me
Too late to find me

Chorus C
Please end this now
You just remind me
There must be a way
To break free of this pain

Verse 2
You don't feel emotion
I'm sorry to say but it's true
No sound and no colour
You left me with black and with blue

It started so sweetly
It started without a regret
But soon came the thunder
How quickly we learn to forget

Started the song at 1500 hours. It's been raining today with is lovely, for me anyway. Sharyn has gone to get a manicure or something, and she dropped Roger off. I have Star Trek II playing in the background. Both dogs are asleep on the exact couch that they shouldn't be on.
Louise is coming over at 5 to record vocals, and then Chris is coming over an hour later at 5 so we can watch Dial M For Murder in 3D, can't wait!!!
It's 1341 hours and I'll start writing lyrics now as I've finished the music bed.
Louise came over at 1730, so we recorded vocals for Heaven Must Have Sent You Back To Me

Thursday the 6th of October
We are recording the vocals for Lifeline today, then we are going Ballroom dancing at 1830 hours!!!
Update - Louise ended up not recording lead vocals for this track, as we both agreed it sounded better with male vocals.
