Additional Info: Monday 31st March, 20250917 - I picked up Jack and Fritz from Parliament station as Sharyn went to work. Then I went to the studio and chatted with Danny D on Messenger for a while. Then I had breakfast (mixed vegetables) and watched The Orville (Pria). The title of the song came out of nowhere, and I thought I should start a new song while inspiration was there. I wrote the lyrics in about 15 minutes. I wanted to keep it direct and simple. Now I'm going to start the music. I think it will be an Italodisco track and use the Lunaris VST I bought last week. I'll try and keep the production simple, but I've said that a million times before and it generally ends up busier than Tokyo. 1117 - Finished the drums and now I'm working on the bassline and chords. 1255 - Working on the bassline and synths. I added a side chain to the main pad. 1451 - Just took the dogs for a walk, it's lovely and cool outside. I can't wait for the winter. I changed the arrangement. What used to be the chorus, is now the prechorus. And the new chorus has the same chords, but one bar each instead of two bars each. 1550 - I just finished the basic music arrangement. I have to get some sleep now, I've been awake for too long. Might have some veggie soup, watch The Orville and then grab some shut eye. I'll do the topline melody when I wake up. |
