Additional Info: Friday 16th of July 2021 1247 hours. This morning at around 0400 I got the inspiration to do the music video for Gordon's Gin. And finished it after a few hours. Now that I listen to the original advertisement, I wonder if I should scrap my version and redo it in that style. OMG, I am NEVER going to finish Travelogue. I also tweaked the Dreams of Leaving music video. This is my third edit, and I just noticed a one frame glitch, that no one else will probably ever notice, but it's bugging me. I had my management call with Adam this morning, then Jack and I went to collect the Helmet (for the Jane Badler clip) from the pick up point, then we went to the Post Office and back to the studio. I had planned to work some more on V7 of Being Boiled, but before I did that I installed the new Cherry VSTi (MemoryMode) and started playing around with the sounds. One of the sounds instantly hit me, and reminded me of the Dominion Jingle that was on the Tavener Tapes, and I wondered if something like that might work in between the tracks for Travelogue. I literally played a 5 note sequence to the sound and that was pretty much the whole thing done. I quickly booted up Cubase, recorded the sequence, and then of course added all the embellishments. I added a hint of Blake's 7 for the final chord. Probably the quickest track I've ever done. Less than 20 minutes from start to finish. Song was written at 1226 hours. I was just chatting to Darren B, and played him the track. He said I should go into jingles! (Been there already, no thanks). |
