Mark Owen Canning came around last night and we watched The Day The Earth Stood still.
The he had an idea for this song, so we worked on V3 and V4. He changed the drums and added a lovely synth hook running through the track. I played it to our label manager and he wants it to be on the bonus CD. Woo hoo!

Here I am working on V5 and I can't believe I haven't done complete notes for this song.
Very weird. I'm usually pretty meticulous when it comes to studio notes. I'll have a look, maybe I saved it under Production 000 (All Parralox songs are assigned number 000 until they are more or less ready for release, and then they get assigned an official production number)
I went to Melbourne Fight Club's Xmas lunch today. Was lovely to catch up with everyone in a social setting. I spoke mainly with Darren, Roger and Hamzah. I took Jack along and there were a few other dogs there too. A large Siberian Husky (I think anyway) and a lovely Golden Lab. Normally Jack gets aggro at larger dogs, but today he was very friendly to all the big boys.
I stayed for nearly 2 hours and then met Sharyn at her place. She had just taken roger and Fritz for hair clipping.
I then went and saw Avatar the Way of Water - that was SO BORING. I'm so glad I had a free ticket!
Now I'm in the studio and working on V5 of this song. It's pretty much the last song I have to do, and probably the hardest to finish.
0139 hours. I think I finished V5. Jack is sleeping on the couch. I have Blake's 7 - Shadow playing as I print. I have my MRI at 1430 hours today, so I'll go to bed as soon as I have something to eat. I feel like watching The Twilight Zone now (the original 50s series of course)
