Additional Info: Wednesday the 14th of October, 2020 1001 hours. It's such a gorgeous and sunny day today. I felt like getting my hands on Gordon's Gin. It was never really one of my favourite tracks on Travelogue, mainly because it doesn't have Phil singing on it. But I listened to the original version and was surprised how futuristic it sounds. I totally get why they chose to cover it. But something got hold of me and I'm here in the studio working on the song. 1430 hours. Just came back from walking Jack and Roger with Sharyn. We went to Big W to pickup my new clothes order. I bought 20 identical grey polo shirts, in addition to my multiple black ones. Jack sheds so much fur, that I end up looking like a coconut because I wear nothing but black. So I decided to buy grey clothes for indoors, and wear my black clothes outdoors. The grey clothes won't show up the fur, and my black clothes stay clean when I go outside into the real world. I scrapped version 1 of the song and am now working on V2. I've been playing around with the tempo. It's originally 142 BPM (apart from the intro) so I'm not quite sure where to go with it yet. Recorded for our cover of the classic Travelogue album, which The Human League originally released in 1979. Released on Compact Disc on conzoom Records. The Deluxe Edition includes 3 Limited Edition CDs. |
