21:21 - Just saw the announcement of Depeche Mode - Ghosts Again on Youtube, the video premieres in 6 hours.
Brad sent me a leaked copy of the song.
Special thanks to Brad, Jase, Mike and Nix (we are all going to see Depeche Mode in Bern, Switzerland in June 2023).
Got me thinking that I should do a quick cover version. Can I do this (and the video) in under 6 hours?
Here we go.
Stop typing. NOW
Start making music. NOW
21:28 - Arrangement Mapping. BPM = 115. Changed it to 120. Probably could have made it a touch faster. But Caroline's Monkey would not approve.
21:34 - starting on bassline
22:45 - finsihed the bass and music hooks
23:11 - vocals recording
23:31 - vocal comping and editing
00:10 - finished the song and printing now.
00:45 - Editing a video using The Seventh Seal - uploaded it to YouTube and found it was blocked worldwide. Fark!!
02:30 - Finished another video using footage from Strange Too. Not bad for 5 hours work.
