This a great album that grows on you with every listen. I like it more than Goldfrapps Supernature, and that was a classic synth album.
I've been into the UK synth scene since 83 when Howard Jones came on the scene. I feel excited about Parralox like I did when Depeche Mode and Thomas Dolby started out. The album is a bench mark for modern synth pop.
I have many favourites on Electicity. Lot's of up-tempo hooky stuff, also some atmospheric tracks at the back end of the album.
'Sharper than a Knife' is infectious. So is 'You and me Both', There is only three tracks I'm not totally keen on. 'Black Jeans', 'Loverly' and 'I Heart U.
My number one favourite is 'Europa'. I like Roxy's vocals on this one. The BPM is perfect and the music sounds just right. A classis track.
